1961 Stewart Scooter

1961 New Zealand made Stewart Scooter project. Trade Me link below. Open to offers.Very few of these known to exist. There is one in Southwards and one in the Classics Museum in Cambridge.Built between 1959 to 1963, the Stewart was designed by Jack Stewart, with around 100 being made before the brand was bought out by BSA/Sunbeam so it didn't impact sales of their scooters.This one has been featured in Classic Car magazine in 1995 in much the same condition as it is now.
